At Vegkiss, we work at reducing our carbon footprint by reducing the work done with machines in our fields. Our low soil compaction techniques reduce the necessity of interventions requiring our equipment.
Sound resource management
We undertake sound resource management with our irrigation techniques based on humidity and hydration factors that reduce water use. In addition, to maintain our symbiotic relationship with the land, we practice crop rotation with grains and various vegetables.
Life cycle
Our management from the ground up, our respect for the cold chain and our new packaging techniques aim to increase product yield and also, to reduce waste. In addition, thanks to our logistics support, we ensure that the transport of our products generate minimal GHGs.
Reduction in fuel consumption
Transport of all our products is done by DFS, a member of the Connexion Group, ensuring reduced fuel consumption through the use of wide tires on our fleet’s trucks and trailers. These tires allow us to reduce fuel consumption by almost 10%.
